We are currently seeking a bright, motivated individual to join our team full-time as a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative with opportunity for advancement. Duties will include client servicing tasks such as the following:
- Work within our agency management system (EPIC) to service our client accounts including:
Renewal insurance marketing (completion/update of ACORD applications)
Preparation of proposals of insurance
Endorsement Processing (adding/deleting/otherwise changing our clients' policies)
Invoicing (billing our clients in a timely and accurate fashion)
Certificate issuance
- Interaction with clients to address service concerns on a timely basis
- Pulling MVR's as requested
- Pulling loss reports as requested
- Basic Policy Review
- Maintain expiration list (in concert with assigned Account Manager/Executive)
- Interact with insurance underwriters in reference to client needs
Qualifications include:
- Positive attitude with solid interpersonal skills
- Great work ethic
- Willingness to learn in a technical/professional field
- Ability to organize/prioritize
- Prior insurance experience is not required but would be a plus.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply) or commensurate professional experience
- Proficiency in navigating a computer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Ability to do basic retail math (including fractions, percentages, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (Any second language is a plus but not required.)
- Strong oral and writing skills
- Current California Property and Casualty license or ability to pass state exam for the California Property and Casualty license
